How to care for a fish who has Drpsy?

Apart from using espom salts, how else should I care for my Dropsy fish? Please help, it's getting worse every day!!!
 
I'm currently having a becterial problem as well. I can only suggest using antibiotics as for typical tropicals and hope for the best. Please investigate (as much as you can) to see if your fish can handle antibiotics.

What kind of fish?
