I completed my fishless cycle in (5weeks) 0 am. 0 nitrite alot of nitrates. The fish I will be stocking with are arriving in a few days. How much ammonia is needed to keep feeding the bacteria colonies. In ppm. I am currently doing about 1-2ppm.

around 3ppm is probably fine if you were using that much during your cycle. if not, just add the same amount that you were using near the end. just make sure you are at 0 when you add the fish. do a big water change before you add the fish (75% or so) to bring those nitrates down to or below 20ppm.

Thanks thats what I figured just want to be sure. Dont want to waste 5 weeks of fishless cycleing just to lose fish...lol
