I just ordered my 280 gallon tank. Its going to be a Starboard SPS dominated tank. Although some softies and LPS will make the move from my 125g. With the help of this site I've come a long way from my 10 gallon beginnings. I've also ordered $1800 worth of stuff from Marine depot and an ASM G6 with mods for it. :thud: I am thinking of setting up a photo diary here, does anyone know of any sites that can host the pics? Can they be hosted here? :D

I'll start off by wiping the drool from my chin... I'm new to this marine life but I'm loving it... I wish to have a nice big tank like that, but for now I need to master my 30g, then, i'll start up my 75g and so on and so on...

Anyway, I can set you up with your own website for the pic and everything for cheap.... Far cheaper than Anyone else, I'm sure of it. unless you want to go with a site where your pages are located at www.blahblahblah.yabadabadoo.abracadabra.com/misc/otherstuff/yourtank

I can set you up with your own website with a simple gallery page for about $125.00

Before you say thats not cheap check out what you'll get...

You'll get your own domain, ex. www.steviedstanks.com (or what ever you want, as long as its available)

you'll get 1yr of hosting (I'll have it published over the web for 1year)

300 email accounts (accessable anywhere from the web (webmail))

500mb space (enough for a bunch of pics) more space is available at a price...

FTP access so you can add your pic directly from your comp

and more...

This is alot for $125 (consider I normally charge $50/hr) and that can easily total into the thousands...

What do I ask in return? I simply want to spend time drooling over your tank
I know its not like a 1200g that some people have but its almost ten times what I got, and that's worth drooling over...

Anyway, if your interested man just PM me and well get this thing started....

LoL...

It was actually a bad sales pitch... If I wanted make money off of it I would have set the price much higher. That price pretty much covers the cost to host his site and maybe when all is said and done I can buy some salt for my tank... but not much...

The reason I suggested this is because you can have alot more fun making your own website with cool graphix and fun illustrations etc... you can even make your own forum boards just like this one... It's a blast to do, and a great investment of time....

Not arguing your point, just making mine...

I don't share space one my webserver because I like the freedom of having my space there to use if I want...

The hosting is $100 and domain is included, you get your own space to do with as you please, no restrictions from me, so you can put 5 million pics and not eat up my storage and bandwidth...

It comes with a large ammount of nice extra's include a control panel where you can do many things including check you traffic, see who's been to your site, and create 300 email accounts for you and everyone else to share...

basically the extra 25 is for my time, taxes, etc...

I know where your comming from, It would be cheaper to let someone use my space, but then I am limited on what I can do, and I'm not up for that...

All in all, if you look arround out there you won't find a reliable host with as many features and 24/7 assistance as cheap as what I am offering...

Wow, we kinda drug this thing through the dirt... :thud:

remember, I was trying to do a favor, not make a bunch of cash...
