I need some help with the bubble rate I am supposed to have a 5g tank. I am making a homemade yeast C02 system, and right now I need to know how many bubbles per minute(second?) I am supposed to have.

Also, how much suger and yeast should I put?
I was thinking one cup of suger and 1/2 teaspoon of yeast.

Thanks

BTW: The tank is a growout tank for Java Fern.

By growout, does that mean there are not any fish in the tank?

In such a small tank, I would use Seachem's Excel instead of CO2.

You want to be careful with restruicting CO2 flow on a yeast powered CO2 generator. You can have your soda bottle pop (sorry about the pun), and that is 1 smelly disgusting mess to clean up.
