I have 1 Albino cory, 1 Albino Zebra donio, 4 Neaon tetras, 2 Fancy Gups... 10Gal.

I notice all the other fish are very active.. Moving in an out everthing. The corey seems to just want to stay by him self.. :( He moves around every now and then.. What could be the problem?? Is he lonely? or just not very active? :hi:

Corys should be kept in schools and tend to be much happier and more active when you have several. I'd recommend at least 5 or 6, but more would be better.

In your tank, though, adding any more would definitely be overstocking it...unless you've got a different tank that you could put him in and add some more to keep him company, you might be best off returning either the cory or some of the other fish to make room for more corys.

AquaMan...what is that fish in your avatar !!?? Very COOL !

About the cories, yeah, it's probably unhappy being alone. They definitely enjoy the company of thier own kind...it would be much more active with a partner...though I sort of agree with Satin that it would be pushing it to add another fish to that tank.

I have 2 tanks that only have 2 cories in them....and they are doing fine. As long as they have at least one other with them...they're ok, though they do prefer to group. If you wanted to try adding another cory to that tank, you could.....but watch the parameters and be ready to have another tank to setup for some of them. But only give it a try if you can do another tank...
