Hi, im pretty new to the whole shrimp scene and today I just picked up 6 Cherry Shrimp, 5 of which are pregnant. There in a 10 gallon tank along with 5 baby guppies, one 4 inch pleco, and 6 tiger shrimp. I just wanted to know do I need to place the pregnant shrimp into a breeding trap? When the females do let go of the eggs or little shrimp(whatever it is) will my pleco and guppies eat them? One last question, is there a way to tell if the eggs are fertilised or not? Some are green and some are yellow. Thanks in advance.

You need to have all of the red cherry shrimp in a heavily planted species tank, nothing but the shrimp. The baby shrimp will otherwise be food for the other fish.
