On the recommendations of a few people, I got some Florida crushed coral substrate to add to my filter. I got this because I had heard I should use aragonite or crushed coral to help with my soft water problem, so I figured that this type of substrate would be best as it says on it that it is a mixture of aragonite AND crushed coral. I hope I wasn't wrong in this decision. Now, however, I'm not quite sure I know how much of this to put as media into my filter. I was thinking I should start little by little and just keep testing the water while I keep track of how much I put in there, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good place to start. I have a 46g planted tank. Any dose recommendations?

Thanks!
Fernando

You're right to start little by little. Start with a tablespoon and give it a day or so before you test. This is how I did it with my 29 and it worked great. Patience grasshopper.
