Coraline...It's about a little girl who discovers an alternate world through a door in a new flat she and her parent move to. It's light creepy, think the target audience is teenagers. But, I read all his stuff, since it's all really good.

"Night of the Living Dead"? Sorry - Meant to say Evil Dead. So many dead I got confused.
You might have to post another clue cause all aging yourself made me think of was "Death Becomes Her".

Ha! It's a comedy. "I'm Dave"..."I'm Chainsaw"..."And we'll see you, at the movies!"
Two of the guys that are taking a summer schhol English class are big time into horror movie special effects, and there's one scene where a hand crawls across a table and pulls a girls tongue out.

No, just able to find stuff through Google. I liked Evil Dead 1 & 2, but couldn't stand Army of Darkness. Also wasn't big on Bubba Ho-tep.

The only one of these I've seen is Shaun of the DEad. For some reason my husband thought this was a comedy...and that I'd like it...EEWW!! I don't DO creepy?
Doll...couldn't it be Thing from the Addams family? Isn't that what they called the hand in the box? Or was that Cousin IT?

I found it funny too, and I'm Canadian...I like most English comedy (recently watched The Office series...absolutely hilarious...the American version just doesn't compare!)
I also really enjoy dark movies. :)
Well, I do remember this one OLD black and white horror movie about a crawling hand.......just don't remember the name of it. My brother would remember..lol..we used to stay up and watch "Chiller Theater" together on Sat. nights...till one in the morning.
I also remember one where some folks were surrounded in a house by crawling brains....eyes and spinal cord intact !! THAT one was very creeepy to me at my age then...lol..
Or how about the one where a guy grew another head. It started as an eye on his shoulder and grew to a head....lol............those old SciFis were interesting in thier day, though no competition for any of the new stuff....with all the latest special effects and computer animation. Anything is possible now.

I remember that one...How to Get Ahead in Advertising. Started as a festering boil that grew into a head...very odd movie. I really liked some of the movies I saw during Film Festivals. Delicatessen (directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who also directed the great 'Amélie') was one that stands out for me...very odd & dark, yet amusing.
