Product called "crystal clear"

im getting desprerate ;) as most of you prob know ive got cloudy water im gonna try a 5 day blackout first but.... months ago i tried this product called "crystal clear " it worked GREAT but i stopped using it not knowing if it where good for my fish? ive recently done some research trying to find out if it's OK cant find much about it except adds saying it OK ?? does anyone have any experience with this product, is it OK . looks similiar to "Acurel F" color and size of bottle :D which there adds also say its OK for fish? anyone?
 
I feel that a goal in keeping aquariums is to use the least ammount of chemicals possible.

Clear water can be achieved through well maintained filtration and regular water changes. You shouldn't need any extra chemicals.

I used to use that "crystal-clear" on my stepmom's molly tank....IME, it didn't work so great. Rinsing the foam sleeves with tank water every water change kept the water clear.

Basically for clear water, don't overfeed, do normal weekly water changes (I do 50%), and take care of your filters...(I do bi-weekly maintenance of rinsing out the sponges with tank water and rinsing out the filter with tap).
