My cory fish just had 21 eggs, but I don't have very much experience in raising cory fish fry. Iv'e had some before, but for some reason my Guppy fry attacked them and killed them it was really weird because I don't no why they would attack them.
I don't really know what spieces of cory fish that I have, but any information on how to raise them would be very appreciated, so if you have any onfo please tell me. And on why my guppy babies would attack.
Your guppy fry were probably hungry and eggs are a great food source. Are the eggs white in colur? If so then they are probably not fertilized and aren't viable. They should be clearish. They are also very prone to fungus attacks and if not placed into a separate tank and treated right away with an anti-fungal medication they will also probably not make it. That being said I decided not to worry about the eggs and let what happens happen in my cory tank. My female laid many batches of "bad" eggs and I just let her go about her business. This year ,however, (Her 4th year I believe) some of the eggs have started to hatch and now I have at least 5 babies from 2 batchea and she just laid another batch. I will tell you my setup but can't explain why things are all of a sudden working.
My tank is heavily planted with java fern, java moss, and amazon sword (the eggs get laid everyhere). The tank has a pH of 7.4 (average). The tank temp is 68-72F depending on time of day. I feed a variety of foods to the cories - algae discs, sinking complete tabs and shrimp tabs, plus any flakes that make it to the bottom. I do a 30% weekly water change in which I add Flourish Excell carbon suppliment, and occasioanlly fertilizers for the plants. I age the change water and do not use dechlorinator (I have no chloramine in my water).

The cory fish weren't eggs anymore when they were attacked they were about a month old. My cory's ussualy breed after a water change of more than 50% of my water and everytime she laid her eggs at least 2 eggs hatched of about 10. Thanks for the colur info.
It is often hard to breed in a community tank. I don't keep guppies so I don't know what they are like when it comes to aggressivness towards other fry. My other tank mates are a flying fox and white cloud minnows.
I might suggest that you keep some java moss in the tank. I notice that my cory fry stay hidden in it for quite awhile until they feel brave enough to venture out.

Where can I get the moss grass from? I never purposly breed my fish they just do what they do. And whats the best thing to feed the fry when they become big enough to eat or old enough whichever?

I know the guppies are fierce when it comes to their own fry or platy/molly/swordtail fry, I would assume they are just exhibiting this same behavior. If it's fry, it's a snack. Guppybabe, you can also buy a breeder net to keep the cories in until they are a bit bigger, too big for the guppies OR you can set up a 10 gallon for them.

i have about three different breeder cages one of them is a beta tank, but since I don't have any beta's I let the eggs use it. They seem to be doing just fine, out of the 21 only three were bad eggies.
Your always anwering my questions you seem to be pretty good at raising guppies.
Java moss or a simlar plant should be available at most fish stores. At least it is around here. Perhaps there are some good sites on line to order from, but I have never done that. I don't feed my fry anything special. I just put regular food in and they seem to make it. Cories are good at heading out during lights out so dropping some sinking pellets in the area they like to hide is a good idea. They will find the food.

I ordered moss from aquabid. My little cories hide in there. I actually hope the eggs get eaten because I don't have room for them, so now I am buying a bigger aquarium for them. Yes, they hide in the moss and come out when they are ready. good luck
