last night after i posted my message. The red top became very sick. so i took him in to safty. And this morning he was a goner. So that my update!!

Ok here is the scupe, the red top seems to be doing worse in my eyes. He is not eating and i am getting very concerned. He is no layingat the top of a platform i have in my 55g that is above the rocks. He is laying underneth a plastice plant and he seems to move back and forth like he is readjusting him self. any thoughts. make sure you check out the pictures of him the 1st picture is of his location in the tank upper right cornerof photo. 2nd photo is a little closer and he is under beside the plant. 3rd picture is just of him laying there. 4th picture is same as pic. 3 just diferent. what do you think?

Hello,I have had a group of 8 red top zebras now for about a month and a half. And all is good. However the ruler of the tank I call him the "king" is about 2 inches or a little bit longer in length. And just recent in the past day or so it has been acting a little bit strange such as hiding in the back corner of the aquarium under a over hang. minding his own business. Or he hangs out in the middle of the very thick plants in the center of the aqurium. He looks fine such as color and everything. He is just now starting to show, well at least i think he is.When he gets excited he gets a very bright whitish blue color. And it seems to be still doing that it is he just hide out and is acting strange. Is this anyhtign to worry about? All the other fish a very active!!
If i am able to get a picture of him will it help any?

Is someone else become the new "king"

My red zebra is doing to same thing now that my blue sofilofi (sp?) has taken over the king title.
