Hello, I have a 100g saltwater tank. I am using a wet/dry sump with a 250gph in sump protein skimmer. My problem is that no matter how much I adjust the settings (height, air, placement, etc.) I am still getting a lot of tiny bubbles in the sump, which are then being returned into my aquarium. Does anybody know how I could fix this?

Thank you

***Please note, the bubbles are coming from the Protein Skimmer output.

In my sumps, I have a plastic box, open on the side, with the inlet pipe coming through a hole in the top. The box is full of rock, so the water hits the rock, and bubbles stick to the rocks, combine, and surface. The return from the sump is on the far side of the sump. Never had any problems with bubbles from the input making it all the way over to the return pump.

Baffles or rock in between the inlet and the return should solve the problem.
