My ammonia was over 2.5 and I got worried and added ammo-lock. Will this slow down or prevent my tank from cycling? I'm trying to help the cycle by adding Bio-spira.

If you add Bio-Spira it will be cycled within 48 hours to a week at most. Ammo-lock IMO is a waste. You want to control levels just do water changes.
As for whether it will hurt the cycle, I can imagine it might but I'm not for sure on that.
