restricted flowrate on xp3 if i move it?

i was wondering if the flowrate would be deminished if i were to move my canister from underneath my tank(slightly on the intake side) to either beside the intake or the return on the outside of the cabinant?

It is to much of a hassle to tilt and squeeze the canister in my cabinant.

Would the filter be lower than it is now in the stand? The thing that makes the flow rate on a pump is how far up it has to push the water, something called head pressure.

As stated the lower the pump the more head pressure. Also the longer the hose on the out flow side the more friction which will show a slight reduction of flow.

actualy the canister would sit like 2-3 more inches below where it is sitting but closer on to the return line side on the floor next to the stand.
