Has anybody noticed their royal gramma leave their cave at night and forage around on the sand?He has an actual cave in the live rock.
Very strange.

A lot of people don't realize it, but Grammas are a secretive fish by nature; while diving off Freeport in the Bahamas I encountered entire colonies of them living totally inverted lives, residing upside down in holes located in the ceiling of overhangs and caves in the reef.

Mine loves his cave.That's why I'm surprised he ventures out at night.They may very well be nocturnal.
