I got some Java moss at a fish auction yesterday and was going to put it on some driftwood in the aquarium. Well i have a lot left over so i was just wonder what else to do with it. Can i just let it float or do i have to plant it someway thanks for any help.

It doesn't really float on the water surface from my experience. It'll just (a) either get stuck in your filter intake or (b) get tangled amongst something else. You can tie some around a stone with fishing line and it'll make a nice clump that you can move around whenever you feel like it. If the stone is rough enough, it will attach to that eventually. You can dump a few bits of gravel on it on the bottom and it will grow there.
