Chill, sorry to hi-jack, but I have to ask are you from the mainland or out in the drink. I have flown into Wabush several times for work, and am quite fond of it despite the -40 daytime temps (I only seem to get to go in January)
Just curious and Happy holloween to you as well.

No I'm on the island. Milder than Labrador we don't see -40 other than as a wind chill factor. Being out in the ocean keeps the winters a little warmer. of course it keeps the summers a little cooler as well. We get more than our share of snow in January though. Late July early August is about the only time you can expect anything resembling warm weather.

If you haven't been to the island I hope you get to check it out sometime.

Sub if yoiu want to drink this is the place to come. George Street is legendary - it has the most pubs per square foot in North America.

I don't derive any happyness out of the history I have with Halloween. I don't want to make merry or have a happy Halloween, I would be pleased with a peaceful one though.

I did buy my fish on halloween of last year, so this is the one year mark of me having my piranha

I will say there is a bit more apprehension now that I own a home in a neighborhood with lots of teen agers. But thankfully my children have moved out so their "friends" don't come looking for our home specifically.

Just came in from taking my grandson trick or treating. The exuberance of a five year old hopped up on candy can be infectious. However mad treks for candy take a toll on the body after 40.

LMAO...I just scared the **** out of these three 18 year olds (approx) and they screamed like girls....:soda: hahahah! +3 to the total tonight! If my lil nephew was still staying with us, I woulda took him out but hes down in mississippi. So this is how I get my kicks  I just scare the older ones, not the young kids...
