In your nightmares.
I bought an interesting fish at the store which I had never seen before labeled a "Freshwater Skate Pleco". I have had it in the tank for a few weeks and it gets along fine with its tankmates and seems very healthy (I've been told my tank shouldn't work out, but my agressive and non-aggressive fish are well fed and leave each other alone). I was looking for some information on the species online and there is nothing.

A friend once made the mistake of buying "Freshwater" flounders that all died (we know now they are BRACKISH fish after trying to find out why they died... I think pet store owners try to move fish faster by calling them "freshwater" since they know more people have FW tanks!). I wanted to make sure my little skate will not suffer the same fate!

Anyone interested I also have a post in classifieds, I am trying to give away a 8.5" Pl*co that has outgrown my 29-gallon tank - RI area.
