I currently have a one ten reef. All is looking fine but there as been a significant growth. It is not all together unatractive at this point but I want it to be controlled and if anything gradually cut back. I have two emerald crabs that are supposed to help deal but they really don't seem to be making a dent. I have heard that some tangs may pick at it but I was wondering as to which ones in particular.
Any ideas would be much appreciate. I fear the day when my rocks look like an oranda.

No tang will reliably eat it...mithrax crabs are honestly the best option. But, crabs will only pick up the smaller growths. You will want to remove the rock from the tank and use a tweezer to pluck off the bigger growths that the crabs can't get. Do NOT pop them underwater as this just releases spores that will result in a faster spread!
I was having a serious bubble algae problem and the mithrax (emerald) crabs have been working out quite well. It took them a while to get it under control, but I don't have any more small bubbles. I have a few big ones left that they won't eat - I'll have to pick those out. Overall, I'm really happy with my crabs (3 in my 100g) and haven't seen them causing any problems.
