pit bull pleco LDA 25

My LFS has pitbull plecos http://www.fishaholics.org/gallery/hypostominae_sp.shtml (this is a pic of one taken at my LFS) I was wondering if i can get soem info on it.

I haven't been able to get much info by doing a google search,only pics. I have seen in my Baensch aquarium atlas that a pitbull pleco (Chaestistoma sp) can get 8" but i have also seen in other books plecos under the name pit bull pleco that only get 4".

Can someone please clarify

i may be wrong but i believe this fish stay rather small, under 8 inches.

yeah i have checked out planetcatfish but it only shows pics,no info.

They have a catfish of the month for the rubberlip pleco and it says it only gets 4". But i'm wondering why it says in teh aquarium atlas that the pitbull pleco get 8"?

If you can get the scientific name, run that through www.google.com You'll be surprised at the results!

in the aquarium atlas it just says, Chaestistoma sp. pitbull pleco, so i have done a searc using that but it comes up as only getting 4"
