i have had my LR for a year now and the only thing growing on it is little buches of green circle lookin thingys... Is there anything i can do to help promote the growth on it?

Yup, let me ask you a few quetions first please. What are your tank parameters size, water readings, critters etc. If everything is in good shape you can et some prime live rock and scrape off little bits of the coraline and it will spread to the other rocks and to the walls of your tank. As far as the critters go you sort of have to cherry pick and hope for the best some of them like copepods probably are already all over your tank. Other take time patience and to be frank a bit of luck
I'd be pretty careful with what i was buying though and pay lots of attention ther are some hitchhikers that are better off being left in the fish store like astapsia.

i also have a Condy (sugar) and a damsel (Baby) and a cinn clown (general Lee) 2 turbo snails (gary and larry) lol just thought i would tell ya the names too
