how long is it normal for a new fish to hide? i just got a dwarf fire gourami, or something like that. i added him to my 29 gallon, along with the fish that already exist in there. The oldies were 6 danios and 2 cories. Nobody is threatening the gourami in any way but it has been hiding under a rock for about 4 hours, hasn't moved at all. Also all lights are off. What can i do?

It will probably take a few days for your Gourami to fully adjust to its new surroundings, water conditions, and tankmates.
