i recently got a 80gal. hex tank. i have a fluval 304 and a powerhead 802 with an under gravel filter (white plate). i heard that i had to do reverse flow on my powerhead so water is sucked and pushed down. their is a picture on the side of the power head that kind of tells to how to do it. i did do that and over night 2 of my daughters african frog got stuck in the vents on the side. i dont think that was suppose to happen. can someone help me with this problem. :dive: :help:

get a sponge filter, the kind that is shaped like a soda can (there are others that are flat or wide, avoid those). put it over the intake of the powerhead so that the vents are all completely covered by the sponge. it should solve the problem.
