i have a 25 gallon tank. it is cycled, would these fish be ok in it, 1 2.5in pleco, 1 1.5in cory cat, 2 2.5in female auratus, 1 3in cobalt zebra, 1 2in albino zebra, 3 2in jewels.

dont you think your cramming them in there alittle bit plus if you put all those cichlids together you would have a bunch of dead fish. i have six cichlids in my 65 gallon and its still like war.

I'd strongly recommend getting at least three to five cory cats. They really need each others' company, and don't take up much of a bioload.

Are you going to plunk some live plants in there, too?

I have to agree on this. This is to many cichilds for a tank of this size. Unless they are juvenilles and you are upgrading them to a larger tank in the future.

For the time being.

1 1.5in cory cat,

Schooling fish. Needs to be in a group.

2 2.5in female auratus, 1 3in cobalt zebra, 1 2in albino zebra,

OK - suddenly we're talking Mbuna. Far too small a tank, especially for these species. The auratus, even a female, is a spitting sliver of belligerence and violence.

3 2in jewels.

Not with rift lake species. Different conditions.

I think you need to decide what you want - a peaceful S American community (based on the catfish), an Mbnuna tank (but it's too small. You might get away with Labidochromis, but that's about it.) or a riverine African tank (more likely, a species tank for the Jewels because they probably won't let anything else live in a 25)

in that small of a tank, i'd put my vote in for rams. a breeding pair (or trio) of bolivians would be quite nice, i'd say. i don't know how they'd fair with others whilst spawning, anybody?
