I have an Archer, Mono and green scat. I went in a local store and saw that they had a Mono and scat in a full saltwater tank. Does anyone know if these 3 fish are really supposed to be able to survive in saltwater? I've never heard of a scat or acher being in saltwater. Also, any tips on how to convert to saltwater? I know it is a slow process but not quite sure how to do it. Raise salinity with each water change?

Welcome to Aquaria Central! Yes, Monos and Scats are BOTH full saltwater fish as adult. Archers don't do as well in saltwater. You want to conver slowly, no more than .002 per week. Yes, change it with each water change Anyway, hope this helps and good luck and welcome to AC!

Do I have to wait until they reach adulthood to go full saltwater? I've heard it can be done at anytime.
