what kind should I get?

Im looking to get a new bottom feeder or snail for my 2g guppy fry tank. I have unavoidably hard water and no filter because it would suck up my new babies. the cory cat I had randomly turned up dead this morning :huh: and I dont know why.

any ideas? comments? suggestions?

you could try some ottos although i dont know much about their hardiness

I would go with a snail. They are very hardy, will clean the wastes as well as algae, and won't threaten the fry at all.
