My gf loves candy.... She would choose Candy over bubblegum any day. I'm the opposite. I'd only eat candy if there was no bubblegum around.

I always thought bubblegum was prefered over candy... She thinks the opposite.

What do you think?? What's your favorite? Bubblegum, or candy?

btw, they opened up a place called Candy Heaven.... All the candy and gum you can possible dream of. Even all that vintage gum you never see anymore is back. Anyone remember that baseball gum that came in "pouch"? almost looked like a chewing tabacco pouch. Anyway, THEY GOT IT!!!

Gum has little appeal to me. I spend too much time talking to deal with gum! But, I must say, in terms of candy consumption, I don't eat that much anymore. I do peruse every store I vist and the web for bad candy--my sister and I exchange it.

hmmmm...... I do love them both but I think I'll have to say I side with your gf on this one, cheech. There's so many different candies out there compared to the limit of "bubble-gum". Let's see, I love Laffy Taffy, Now or Laters, Bit o' Honey's, Charleston Chews.... should I go on?

Gum..oh where do I start??? I can't stand the sound of it being chewed. Sounds like a heard of cows is standing next to you. Nothing is worse than making a phone call and having the person on the other end chomping.
If I do chew it ..I don't for long. If my kids had it...they knew better than to be noisey with it around me. I'd make them get rid of it.
I attribute my dislike of gum to when I was kid. This old guy at church gave all the kids gum all the time. I started woking at the nursing home he lived in...and he gave it to everyone at the nursing home too...I guess I just OD'd on it. As I got older, I realized the guy was rather a leach..ewwww...

I wasn't limiting it to either chocolate or non-chocolate. My all time, hands down favorite candy has always been and will always be Jelly Belly jelly beans. But, I will totally agree that American chocolate is not the best. Every year my Austrian relatives send over bars of chocolate for Christmas, and it ROCKS. The best. My favorite is the milk chocolate with dried currants. Heavenly.

Big League Chew. That stuff was awesome! My buddies and i used to put a big wad of it in our mouths and then go play baseball. I recently rediscovered it in a small town candy shop and bought a couple "pouches". LOL I have to say it's still pretty good......................
