Scratches on the Side of my O

Hey all I just noticed that my O has got some scratches on his left side. Looks like he's rubbed against some of the rocks and has taken some of his scales off. The scratches are white so i'm assuming they are down to the flesh. Any suggestions on what i can do to help these get better and not get infected etc?? I think i'm gonna do 50% water changes every other day just to make sure the nitrates stay down. What do you guys thinks...

I just finished reorganising the tank so that he has some more room to move until his new home is cycled and guess what was under the rocks in the middle of the tank... convict eggs... maybe my o's been gettin a bit too close to them and the cons have had a go at him, i dunno just a thought.
