Fiddling with a movie production software (Pinnacle Studio 9). This winter, my project is to copy all our home movies from VHS to DVD.

This particular scene is from the cottage. It is in .wmv format (Windows media) and plays for 13 seconds. Info: lots of chipmunks at the cottage, which we feed. They have become so tame and do tricks for peanuts. This one is trying to fit a peanut into his cheek and is not succeeding.

*warning* *warning* It is 9.3 MB – but if you do happen to go for it – is it viewable?

Also, I won’t be keeping it on the server very long because of its size.

Edit Wed. night - Removed the link as I am deleting the file from the server shortly.

Great. I had a choice of making it .wmv or .mpg (that was 3 mb larger) or .avi (I didn't try that one so didn't know if it would be bigger or smaller.) Too bad I don't have a lot more room on my provider - I made a "music video" of various clips of decades at the cottage to the tune of 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat' and it's pretty excellent if I do say so myself. (i.e. where it says "Sit down, sit down sit down sit down" I have repeated clips of people falling....)

lol chipmunks dont have much room in their face. my hamster could probrably stuff one of those in lol

That is just too adorable!!! I love the giggle in the background. They are just some of the cutest critters.

My little brother used to have an evil dwarf hamster. One time my mom gave it a Cherrio and she stuffed it into her cheek. You could see the round shape of the Cherrio sticking poking through her cheek :duh:

kveeti!
Great video! Our beagle went nuts over it. I'll see what the dachshund does later... :D

I have another chipmunk one, I should put together, it will need some editing - and requires very close watching, it happens so fast. My parents have a bird feeder hung on a line between 2 trees. A chipmunk was able to jump from the tree to the feeder - swung a lot but he hung on, stuffed his cheeks and then jumped straight down to the ground. After doing this several times, my mom moved the feeder farther away. The chipmunk poises, guages, jumps and dives straight to the ground, missing the feeder by inches. Kinda mean, but hilarious.

That is good enough to be a America's funniest animal videos candidate.
