Don't be silly. No one's going to spend that kind of cash for a Pacu.
You can buy a one-inch pacu for five dollars at almost any LFS. Wait a few months, and then they can have their own 15" monster fish. Most people can't even give away their large Pacu fish -- especially when they find out how fast and how big they grow (easily to 24" or more).
Try giving it back to the LFS you got it from. They probably won't take it either, though.
