Are knight gobys brackish water fish? I have one a 20 gal brack aqarium at home becausei was told they are a brackish fish. Though i have seen them in many FW set ups and also work at an LFS in houston where we keep them in freshwater. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance!

Yes, they are a brackish fish. Many fish stores keep them in freshwater because they can and because brackish fish are not near as popular as freshwater or marine so most stores don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a brackish tank. So to answer your question, yes they are a true brackish fish and it is just lfs can get away with keeping them in freshwater (they will SURVIVE in freshwater with shortened lifespans but will not THRIVE in freshwater). Anyway, hope this helps and good luck with yours! They are really fun fish!
