Hey everyone,

I've had my tank setup for about 4 months now. I've started out with fish only and no live rock. Now I'm wanting to add about 35lbs. I figure that should be enough and after time, it will seed the 25 lbs of regular rock currently in my tank. My question is, if I get cured live rock from my LFS, do I need to be worried about die off. The store is 5 minutes away. I'm thinking it should be okay but I want to make sure because the last thing I want is for the tank to go through another cycle.

Currently I have 1 blue yellow tailed damsel and 2 bicinctus clowns along with several blue legged crabs.

Appreciate it

Justin

How many gallons is your tank? If you are sure that the rock is cured then you don't have to worry about any die off in 5 minutes.

Nah, I don't think you have any worries, just run your skimmer hard and you should be fine ;)

oh, sorry bout that. I forgot to mention its a 55 gallon tank.

I'm wanting to add live rock before I put any more fish into my tank.

Thanks for the help
