Is it me or the thatpetplace.com live plants department is totally unreachable? They only let you leave messages and nobody picks up the phone. Any ever dealt with these guys?

Only in person.

and I've stood in line for 30 mins waiting for plants/fish.

I'll be there on Saturday if you want me to smack them around a little though ;)

Give them a good smack. They sent me an email shipping confrimation of my plant order and its missing 8 plants. Unless the email is a mistake, they messed up and I can't even reach them.

Have you tried calling the customer service number ? or the main number ?

I finally got hold of them. Apparently, the email was mistaken. They said they shipped all the order.

I wish I lived near their retail store. I am in NYC, and the stores are prettty expensive. No deals here.

I'm in the Poconos.. it's still about a 2 hour drive.. still works out cheaper than shipping..

Wow, I guess if you buy alot. It can be... But gas is expensive nowadays too. You really have to make a "huge" purchase I am guessing.

So their retail store prices are same as "online" prices? I am about 2 hours from them too.hmmmmm

I'm actually going shopping at the outlets in Lancaster 1st.. there's a Gap clearance center there, I'm normally go in there and spend a couple of hundred (at least) on clothes

who knows what else I'll buy down there... but what I save down there will more than compensate for the money I'll spend on gas (I estimate it's going to cost maybe $20-25 in gas.. give or take.) so I'd spend 1/2 that to ship plants alone..

and yes, the instore prices are the same as online.. you also get the benefit of being able to see what they have in stock, as opposed to waiting for them to update the web page.,

well.. the staff weren't much use in person...

but I'm probably going to go back in a few weeks when they have the 30% off one item coupon..
