I have two Coralife EZ Ballasts over my 55g plant tank (each holds two 48" T8).
Had them for less than 4 years.
One of them crapped out the other day. I contacted Coralife and described the problem, their reply was simply "from the problem you've described it sounds like you need to replace the ballast".
Indeed I will, with a brand OTHER THAN CORALIFE! Ballasts that cost $50 should last for decades, not less than 4 years! Garbagey imports.
