Recently, the clowns have started sleeping in my big toadstool leather. The (now) female would hang out near the leather, but never actually snuggled in it with the old mate. Now that he has become a she, the new little male seems to have enticed her in.

It looks nice and cozy, doesn't it?

This is my favorite shot, the little male sticking his nose out.

My male is very red as well. I hadn't seen that before which is why I decided to bring him home :) We had a shipment of about 100 true's come in and he just stood out like a sore thumb! Beautiful fish!

That is so cool.
A few days ago, I was at my LFS and they had some small anenome's (I know! I know!, no lecture needed). Anyway, I figured I'd take one since my conditions were better than the store and his chances were likely better with me. So, at the same time I picked up a tomato clown and the clown took to the anenome the following day and hasn't left it since. I came home from work and saw him sleeping inside the anenome being rocked back and forth by the tentacles..... Truly amazing.
I guess my dream 90 gallon will be in the works for next spring. It makes working overtime alot more appealing lol :)

wow, beautiful fish! forgive me, I'm new, but the larger of the two is the female? what I mean is, how do you know the gender? Has one started to swim around in a little skirt and matching purse? ha ha... sorry that wasn't funny. But seriously, how do you know? :duh:
