attaching carnation

hello all,
I got a carnation coral (i know they are hard to keep) from a local reefer.
How do I mount it? I have the perfect little cave for it but I can get with the help of super glue the bugger to stick.
any sugguestions?

I've never known anyone to successfully force-mount a carnation. Glue definitely doesn't work, and the toothpick method tends to just result in disintegration. Is it attached to anything at all, or is it completely loose?

it just keeps on falling off the glue. I can try to pry it into a corner of my rock and see if it will stick? or does something else work?

well I have tried rubber banding it.
we are in hour 4 and all is ok. I just worry that the rubber band might just split em in half.
