10 inch blood parrot

Does anyone ever seen in any pet shops a 10 inch blood parrot? Mine is about 7 inch thats the pink one on my avatar. If anyone has the pic of 10 inch blood parrot, share it please. :)

my 8" is the biggest I've seen and is orange (not light, not dark just pure orange.) I can't seem to be able to get a pic on AC but I e-mailed a few pics of it to www.aqualandpetsplus.com with permission of use on there site but I am waiting for them to go through there e-mails agin

Did you raise it yourself? if so, what size was it bought? What Sized tank do you have? I got mine a few months ago in lincon at petco at the size he is now. I asked the employee how much it was and he replied that it was worth $70-$80. I (living a few cities away and not having any money with me) went back to the tank to at least take a few pics with my dital camera. after I went through the pics, I noticed that there was a tag on the glass saying: "Free for adoption: LG. Blood Parrot" and he was mine ;) :D :D !

Wow, so you got it for free?
I raised mine since it was only 4-5 inch, then now it grows to be a big guy (7 inch).
It lives with other two fish; smaller yellow parrot and oscar. They used to live with the blue cichlid - similar to electric blue but it is not, got killed by the oscar.... The tanksize are about 45 gallon.

It took about 3 years to grow that big, slow growth rate!
