help........have 40/50 fry

and ther in a breeder trap and im worrid they wont all survive and if they do where do i keep them all lol............i have a 20 gallon tank with other fish in and thinking of gtn anotha tank for the fry but how long will it take to cycle my other tank if i get one so i can put the fry in the other tank??? im new to all this and really need advice here:( thanks cagey
 
what fish are in the tank? each different fry needs different care
 
i got
2 male mollies
3 female mollies
1 simese fighter male
4 famale fighters
1 plec

but the fry is mollies there in the breeding net just now but i cant keep them in there for ever lol

Your mollies will probaly be alright if you feed them very finely crushed flake food! You Could probaly keep them in the breeder net for now until you get the tank cycled. If all else fails the other fish in the tank would love a feast :Angel:
 
Your mollies will be fine in a breeder net for at least 3 weeks. I have found that they are easier to feed, and easier to keep an eye on while they are in the net. I wouldn't keep them in the net for longer than 3 weeks. What do you plan on doing with them? Sometimes its best to let mother nature take its course and let the strongest survive in the main tank, that is unless you intend on breeding them for a purpose imo. Have a great day!
