one female krib with two blue rams

Would this combination work in a 20 gallon tank? Is a female krib to aggressive for the rams? Also added would be a king tiger pleco adult. Should the water be softened with peat?

rams are quite timid and shy cichlids and as you said quite rightly kribs can be aggressive so i would advise against it as you could end up with dead fish.
