Right, Ive got brown algae i think growing in my tank..
Its on the top of my rocks, my shells, and now getting into my sand bed..

the tanks is 3.5 months old, water is fine, has been for a while, ive controlled it from spreading too much by the amount of light its getting, but im not sure what to do to rid of it, very ugly and has totally discoloured on of my rocks..

some one please advise me on what to do now..

Patience is the best advice. If you're not overfeeding, this is likely just the result of it being a new tank. It will clear up on it's own as the silicates are used up. You can swipe it off the glass and such if it's too much.

Other options involve critters--but you need to make sure they are part of your long term goals for the tank, rather than just getting them as a quick fix for a temporary problem.
