I have 8 South American Cichlids, 3 different types. I want to get more, and more colorful cichlids. What all can I put with the ones I have now, do ALL south american mix well?

first, it's important for you to understand that not all SA cichlids mix well, and second ... without knowing what size tank you have, we cannot answer your question as to how many or what kind. lastly, what kind of cichlids do you already have. you've provided virtually no useful information here.

Its a 46 gallon tank, and I will find my recipt so I can get the specifics on the fish.

I would say that you are already way overstocked. Even if the SA cichlids you have are dwarf cichlids, they still need a good amount of territory. What you probably have are a mix of med/large SA and Central American cichlids. Playing with fire in my opinion. Might work for awhile, but once they reach adulthood (which they might not with 8 of them in a 46 gallon) someone will become a tough guy, and you will end up with one, or maybe a pair of large aggresive cichlids. Get us that list so we can help you sort things out.
If you want lots of different colorful fish, do a mixed community tank. If you want a few very impressive, very interesting fish, then SA and CA cichlids are the way to go, but you have to respect thier size and temperament.
