ok this might seem like a really stupid question but, i have a golden apple snail and ive had him for awhile, i purshased him when he was already a pretty good size i think he migh be dead but how do i know? -lol- thanks for ne help

Pick him up and smell him, be careful, dont hold him to close to your nose. If he is dead you will know it! Its not uncommon for these snails to go a week or two without moving. If the snail is dead, you wil want to get it out asap to avoid fouling your water. Have a great day!
