I run an AC70 on my 29, it's really not much more and the extra filtration is always good.

go find a box for it at a store or online. Most boxes will list what size tank the filter is rated for.

it says its rated up to a 50 gal tank but i never go by those ratings, what you have in your tank, how much you have in it, all affect the max tank size
