phone book, 'contractor supply' and phone... i bet you might find something.

plexiglass and paint might work... dunno about the paint... maybe epoxy or something waterproof.

I've ordered from this place 3 times. There prices are probably about the best you'll find. They do a great job cutting acrylic also, with with minimal saw marks on the edges.

They have black translucent acrylic. Just as long as the pieces are under 4' long, they will ship them UPS. I usually e-mail them a cut-list 1st, then I immediately call them on the phone and tell them that I emailed them a cut-list.

Also, If you want to bond the acrylic together, you'll want to get some Weld-on #4 solvent cement and a solvent applicator bottle.

Is the Solvent Cement aquarium safe?
After it evaporates, Yes. Before, No.

The solvent cement when applied to an acrylic joint will melt the acrylic together, then the solvent evaporates. After it evaporates completely, the acrylic is aquarium safe.

The solvent cement itself sould be handled very carefully. It is toxic and flammable. Do no let it come in contact with aquarium water.
