I am curious - does anyone know what the average 100 mini lights xmas chain draws ? Or how much 1 2.5 or 3.5V bulb draws ?
My personal calculations end up being something like 30 to 50W for a 100 lights chain based on some vage numbers i found on the bulbs.
Best would be if someone out there had a "kill a watt" type of device and measure such a chain for me. ;)
I am just asking cause this year i went a bit overboard on the outside lights. ;)
Its not that i am worried about not being able to pay the bill - just curious about how much our ~5000 lights might add up to......
