Bettas and Melafix

Just wondering about something. The recommended dosage of Melafix in a ten gallon tank is 5mL. If I had a betta in a 10g, would this still be a good dosage? Or do bettas require less amounts of melafix to prevent infections?

Just add the regualar dose...Bettas drink that stuff like water...I use it by the gallon (j/k) and have never had an issue with it...Probably one of the best things to have on hand at any time.

I only use Melafix and only when needed. ie. after spawning to heal tears and cuts...
