Dude...comon...when they ship fish they are in a little bag for a couple days, what do you think?

yeah just checkin, cause i got cichlids and dont want them end up fighting in one bucket. so i guess il find some larg bowls or somthing.

Or just use a bucket or something bigger......if its just an hour they should be alright. Good luck......sand is the best!

If you're concerned, you could add an airstone in the bucket. They should be fine, and I don't think fighting will be an issue for that short amount of time. They're all going to be too busy worrying about "Jeesh, what's happening now !" to want to bother with each other.....but you could take a peek in there once in awhile to keep an eye on them, just in case.

I changed to sand when I had oscars. 3 of them about 6 inches. They went in one 5 gallon bucket. The Cories in another, I had 4 of them. The Pl*co I have now went with the cories as well. My oscars were in the bucket for about 2 hours and just kept on swimming in a circle. You'll be fine I have noticed fish don't tend to fight when you put the in a bucket from your tank. My bichir don't either when confined to a bucket all together.
