Gee thanks. Its not quite done yet but I'm slo and have not had any stock losses except a frag of acro that I broke by accident and a couple of trochus snails that didn't survive more than a week. I think I either put 'em in too fast or they were already sick. My other 2 trochus and turbo snail are good.
I hsate losing things and everything in the tank is from a tiny frag or a juvenile critter.
I just won't pay the prices for large corals!!! or adult fish. I won't! lol :)

What size tank is that? SPEC's? It looks kinda small for the anthina (square back??). Nice fish.

I just picked up 3, haven't seen them AT ALL for a couple weeks, and JUST saw one last night! Do you find they are reclusive? :dive:

ONE anthias will do fine in 25g. I recently found out I have 30.6 US gallons. This anthias is a squamipinnis (sp?) orange lyretail with blue trim lol. It was quite beatup by the group it was in at the LFS but seems very happy now living solo and tries to boss the tomato clown, but the tomato has an anenome to dive into and otherwise they all get along fine. I think the fact that the anthias had a rough start to life he has adapted easier to smaller confines. He eats like a pig. And yes he's very pretty, now. I'm happy I rescued him.

All crabs are reclusive Sushi. I see mine after lights out. My emerald crab hasn't been seen in a week, but that's not abnormal. Its happene before and then..all of a sudden, a crab :) Don't worry.

My blue legged hermit crabs are quite out-going; and they are gettingquite BIG!
They are out and about All the time: Crab Legs anyone?-->I just got home and found 2 sets floating about on the sand! Is there not enough food for them? Have they resorted to Cannibalism? Why can't we all just get along?! :huh:
I have a ton of spare shells to move into if needed, what gives? :sad:

LOL I think your crabs molted and are growing. They lie on their backs and step out of the old shell. Keep a few different sizes shells for them as they grow.
