So this morning I wake up to see this almost sliverish little dome on a piece of my LR, if you look at it with the right angle you can almost see through it. It is approximately the size of a dime in circumference. here is a pic.

It looks like bubble algae. If you don't remove it, it may reproduce and spread over all of your live rock.
I'm not completely sure though, because you said it was silver... usually bubble algae, like the stuff I have blooming in my tank, is dark green.

Wow, Just alge, I first started to think that something had done the deed in my tank and might be eggs. lol

Just a little advice. Please remove it Valonia can be really hard to get rid of when established. I'd take the rock out of the tank when you do remove it because if you popp it in your tank ,"easy to do", it will be all over the place.

Thanks for the advice, I will remove the LR from the tank to remove this. Should I cleanse the LR with anything I dont want any thing left behind to spread accross my tank.

nahh, just scrubb it, i had some of that algae on some rubble LR, i got a bucket of salt water scrubbed it off in there and dipped it into another bucket, swirled it around and everything turned out ok.
