I have recently acquired a 1.5" red terror that i currently put alone in my 40gal well established tank(for now). The following day, ive noticed that he had a couple of white spots that looked like ick on his fin and body(not alot but enough to concern me)... so after the fourth day, i've decided to start on treatment. I used the same med(RID-Ich) that i always used for my other fish which works very well, and i also followed the instructions like always... but at the end of treatment(8th day and he still have the spots, so it may not be ick then), i've noticed that only his pectoral fins were clamping, torn ends, and a hazey appearance but all the others fins were fine... he still uses them but not like before, now he just tucks them on his body most of the time... i did a 25% water change last night... he still looks the same... i only added about 3 tbsp of salt on the 8th day of meds... did this cause the clamping? Or maybe ive used meds real soon? I have a bottle of melafix, should i use this? should i do more water changes? Thanks alot!!! Sorry it's long...
